Local government leader Melanie Bush will facilitate the day as we come together to take on RE-Defining Leadership: Embracing Intention, Grit, Grace, & Humility. Join us in exploring new and joyful approaches to transforming our lives by giving yourself a day at the Texas Women Leading Government Annual Conference.

Breakfast will be available during registration, starting at 8:00 a.m. The Conference welcome will begin at 8:30 sharp and we will finish around 3:30 p.m. The attire will be casual and comfortable! You might want to bring a layer, since the Stafford Centre may be cool.
Free Pre-Conference Event Thursday Night! Stop in at Postino's Town and Country location (791 Town & Country Boulevard, Suite 146) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, for small bites and beverages to get to know some conference attendees the night before the event. This is always fun and low key!
Speaker
This year's speaker, Melanie Bush (https://www.linkedin.com/in/melaniebush/), is a local government and community leader, entrepreneur, facilitator, executive coach, speaker, and promoter of self-care. She owns and runs Better Bookkeepers, Inc., is serving a second term as the Montgomery County Treasurer, has served as the Secretary and President of the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees, and was named the 2016 Citizen of the Year award by the Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce in recognition for her community service.

The mission of the Texas Women Leading Government's Gulf Coast Texas Chapter is to empower women to succeed in public service through mentoring and professional development and provide programming and opportunities to the region.
