The purpose of the Texas Women Leading Government - Gulf Coast Chapter is to empower women to succeed in public service through mentoring and professional development, provide programs and development opportunities to the region and to represent the Chapter and its ideas to the Texas Women Leading Government Board.

The Chapter holds an annual leadership conference in January. Chapter meetings occur three times a year, March, June & October. The June meeting is virtual so that more people can attend. Sharing information on career and development opportunities occur at the meetings and on our social media accounts.
